I was at my parents house a few weekends ago and we were sifting through old picutres and I found this one. Opie, do you remember this at all? I think the only enduring memory of Apple Hill that I have is that on that day everyone got carmel apples but I didn't because my mom wouldnt let me take out my retainer.....i was pretty bitter about it. So bitter, in fact, that anytime someone mentions going there and how much fun it is I just can't see it. The place only holds sadness and pain for me. I would wager that this picture was taken at the start of the day and not after the carmel apple debacle. On a side note, Opie looks like he's posing for the Mervyn's sunday add for boys clothes.

Dude, first of all, get over it. That was twenty years ago. Secondly, carmel apples are not even that good. Third, your teeth are straight. You should thank your mom.
On another note, Ryan is a spitting image of you in that picture. He is a little "Mini Scotty."

I do remember that day, and it was fun. In fact, it was so fun that you and Jeff look like you're posing for a sitcom that should've followed "Full House" and "Family Matters."
I also remember teasing a goat by a pond with Jeff.
Never been to Apple Hill, though I've been to a couple of other 'versions' of it.
That photo is priceless.
Maybe one day I will head over the Hill & get some Apple Wine, Apple Strudel, & Caramel Apples....
I don't know if I've ever been to Apple Hill. I vaguely remember going somewhere that may have been it, but truthfully, if I never make it, I'll be okay. It quiet possibly sounds like hell to me.
I don't know what the attraction is, but my parents used to take us there every fall.
There is lots of great food to be had, but you're also in weird biker-nazi backwoods country. So beware of the apple turnover swastikas.
don't foget your apple butter and apple syrup and apple pancakes. also, in opie and jeff's case, applewood smoked goat
